Wesley is a mess. He is so silly and funny all the time. Mike says he doesn’t know where he gets that. I think he is following in the Hynson men’s footsteps; Ronald, Ron Jr., Troy, Joey, Emory, Darrell, Marty, Mike, David they all have that ability to make you smile or laugh and they are a joy to be around. They all are men that people love to see and are glad to know. They just bring a light and laughter to those that are dear to them. We love them all for their ability to make us laugh. So by that Wesley is doing great and holding up the Hynson heritage proud.
He had the best time at Paw paws but was upset that he did not get to “work” much. He had trees to take down, dirt to haul, trash to burn, and tractor work to do. He was planning on doing a lot of “work.” He seemed to also have fun playing with June, Augusta, and Ryan. He loves playing with them as they go right along with him and follow him around. He calls them his best friend. But he says everyone is his best friend. It depends on what you have that he wants as to whether he likes you or not. Wesley really liked seeing his Aunt Theresa so he could tell her “ I hongry” and then he laughs. Granny calls him a bottomless pit. It’s true the boy eats all the time. He doesn’t just pick but I mean he eats a meal and a couple hours later he is ready for another meal not just junk food. Although he will take a piece of candy anytime as he has a huge sweet tooth. He pigged out on the watermelon putting his whole face in it to make sure to get the last bit and the juice. He loves his Granny because she cooks the good food that he doesn’t like. Then eats everything on his plate and wants more. He loves to tell Aunt Theresa how hongry he is all the time, and then just laughs. It is a joke between them that they have. He thinks she is funny and she knows he is. Wesley can be so sweet and loving and then again so trying. We tease him and say that he really has blonde roots coming out and that it turns his hair to brown after it grows. He is our air haired brown boy. He is always saying: what, who, when, where, he is oblivious to his surroundings. He is still focused on himself. He turned 4 and still will not let me take a picture without showing 4 fingers so everyone that sees it knows how old he is. Everyone he meets he says, “ I am Wesley, and I am 4 on my birthday.” Then he asks how old are you?
When we went by the nursing home to see our Nanny Jones he was amazed and fascinated with her wheel chair, the bed, the air conditioner, everything. He wanted to see how it worked and touched everything. He is very hands on.
He has had fun riding his bike and playing with the neighbors, he doesn’t care that they are girls he just knows they ride bikes and jump on the trampoline with him and they even play in the dirt with him and all his tractors. He has adjusted well to the move and he loves being able to see his daddy more. Before work and at lunch and spending time with him at night he says it’s the greatest.
Wesley did not make it into a school yet. He is really really sad he says. I know he was looking forward to going now that he is 4. Adrianna said we could just send him back to Georgia that Mrs. Cutine could watch him at school during the day and he could stay with Granny & Pawpaw at night. Wesley liked the idea but, we told them no, it doesn’t work that way. It is different here than in Georgia and we are not able to send him to a church Pre-school at this time so he will be able to stay at home with me a little longer.
Pray that Wesley will continue to be a joy and a light that shines for others to see God’s love.
