Burnt but tasty

On Saturday mornings Mike will get up and cook breakfast for the kids allowing me a much-needed longer quiet time. He has been doing this for years, as it is his special time with the kids to talk over the week and see what is up for the coming week. This morning he decided to try pancakes instead of his usual sausage balls and eggs. After the kids had eaten and helped clean up Adrianna came running to me and announced that dad made pancakes and they were really good. She said mama, “even the burnt ones were tasty.” I have been told that he is now the bestest pancake maker.
