Adrianna Update

Adrianna is Adrianna. What else is there to say about her? She also had so much fun seeing her Pawpaw, Granny, and Aunt Theresa. She was all giggles that she got to see her Nana and spend some time with her. Next time she wants to see Nana all by herself because Nana lets her do anything she wants to and won't tell her no. She was so so happy to be able to see Ryan and still make him laugh and smile as only she can. There is a special connection that they seem to have. Her Pawpaw told her she could have all the tomatoes she could eat. She said she would eat all he had, then after seeing how many he gathered she rephrased that to just eating all that she wanted. So she ate them 3 times a day 4 or 5 at a time. She was so happy between eating tomatoes and eating what she calls a “beautiful” sandwich that only her pawpaw can make. Yes, she said her favorite was eating at Granny’s house because she cooks “even better than mom.” She loved swimming in the pool with no life vest on. She has no fear of the water and would just jump in without looking or caring how deep it was. She pops up and starts swimming. She has learned to jump off the diving board in the deep end and swim all the way to the shallow part. She also had lots of fun eating watermelon with June & Augusta at Paw paw’s house.
Adrianna was glad to come home again to play with her new friends Bayleigh and Riley. She is playing well with them and not being as bossy as she can be. She has learned to ride her big girl bike, still with training wheels on but it won’t be long before they will come off.
She loves her room and is the only one who keeps it clean all the time. It is good but also a little scary that she is so organized and has a place for everything and keeps everything in its place. I wonder where she gets that?
She will be going into Kindergarten when school starts and she is not happy about going to school. She has announced that she should not have to go because she already learned everything last year from Mrs. Kim and Ms. Rhonda so all they will teach her is stuff that she already knows and it will be so boring. She doesn’t want to make any more friends she says two is enough. She will have a little adjusting to do as it still amazes her that not everyone caters to her every whim.
She still beats to her own drum not caring what anyone else thinks or says and just knows that she is a princess and God loves her so that’s that. She is so beautiful and head strong and stubborn. Mike says she is most like her mom, mom says she is a lot like her dad. I guess she is a good mix of both. She does continue to amaze us with her observations and her point of view and opinions all the time. She is always talking to God and calls Him her best friend with daddy and pawpaw right behind.

Pray that Adrianna will continue to be herself and not change to try to please anyone. She knows that God loves her just as she is and we pray that she continues to hold on that truth.
