We went back to Georgia for what was left of spring break. The kids had missed two and a half days due to the 5 in. of snow we had. They loved it when we had it but now knowing it was taking away from their time with family they were not happy.
We had a great visit. We got to see most all of the family and spend time with them. We laughed, played, and prayed together.
Some of the highlights:
Seeing everyone
Eating tomato sandwiches
Playing with cousins
Eating Granny Hynson’s chicken casserole
Going Easter egg hunting
Eating Granny Lee’s biscuits
Playing football
Eating strawberries
Staying up late
Eating hot sausages
Playing all day
Eating candy
Snuggling with pawpaw
Going to church
Getting new books (Thanks Aunt Leslie)
Doing a project for both mom’s
Spending time with our nieces who always make me laugh
Some of the low points:
Not getting to see/spend enough time with everyone
Not going fishing
Having to leave so soon
June getting hurt
Pawpaw Bray getting sick
Uncle Ronnie falling
The big kicker-
Adrianna arriving Friday night with Strep and getting a big ole shot of penicillin in her butt! (She was better by Sunday, thanks Aunt Tina!)
