Company

Well they finally did it. Dad, Mom and Theresa drove up for a visit last weekend.

We all finally got over the very bad stomach virus although Conner did wind up with it on Friday but was better by the time they came in Saturday. I did some major sanitizing and cleaning before they arrived. The kids were so hyper and excited they could hardly stand it. Kept having me to call and find out where they were. You know the commercial that the guy says, “can you hear me now?” well; I was “where are you now?” They drove me batty.

We all had a good time and it was nice to be able to talk and catch up in person instead over the phone. The kids had so much fun showing them all the places around town and of course showing all the cool new things they can do with their bikes and skateboards. This was fine until they somehow got Pawpaw to get on a bike.
Scary!! Theresa would not even look, Mom and I just watched and prayed. We were not worried about him falling off but, more of one of the kids running into him or getting to close to make him fall. No falls and they loved it.

They came up to see the kids and make sure that they were adjusting okay. They said they wanted to see for themselves how they are doing. I think maybe it was also vice versa.
