We are home

Yes, we are still here and hanging in and on. Things have actually gone really well just the short time we have been in North Carolina. We now have telephone, internet and a satellite installed so we can communicate with the outside world. We were able to spend a lot of family time talking and settling in with no distractions. The house is coming together I am down to 3 boxes to unpack and put away. It is starting to feel like a home now not just a house anymore. The kids love their rooms and they way they can all be close but still each have their own private get away. They call the upstairs their mini house and have promised to keep it clean and taken care of. Conner has been cleaning toilets. They got to pick out the decor for their bathrooms and of course the boys went with a whole fishing camping theme. The girls somehow went from princess/high school musical to end up choosing beige and baby blue stripes. I am not sure how but am thankful that a compromise was reached. The rest of the house is in order are we are looking forward to making happy memories here. The kids and I now refer to this as our home and our house is in Georgia. Mike and I explained what we thought the difference was. Anyone can live in a house anywhere. A home is where your family is and in that place you live, love and support each other and trust in God.
