Ice Cream

Last night we had what the kids called “the best supper we ever had since we moved here.” Now what was it that we ate? Dairy Queen but not the burgers just the ice cream, more specifically blizzards and milkshakes. Mike treated us to a new place for lunch yesterday that was called The Bullpen. It had the whole baseball theme going complete with a dugout eating area. We were so full after lunch that when he called to say he was leaving he told me to get the kids and meet him at the DQ for supper. I thought great I do not have to cook tonight. After eating Reese’s peanut butter cup blizzards for supper no one wanted anything else. This was a little hard for me to go along with at first because you just don’t eat ice cream for supper. But this is what Mike wanted to do for the kids and he said change every now and then is good. So we did. This morning I realized it’s okay to have ice cream for supper of course you have to follow it up with several games of air hockey once you get home. All in all it was a very good day to spend time with the family.
