Conner

Conner came into this world a big, bald headed baby and instantly we fell in love. He was our boy and looked like a mini version of his dad. He is growing so fast and we are so proud of the man he is turning into.

He is so sweet and gentle with all of his cousins and anyone else that is smaller or younger than him. He has the patience of his dad, which is a blessing from God.

Conner can be so sweet and sensitive to other peoples needs thinking of them before himself. He has such a soft heart for everyone and strives to please others. He never meets a stranger and is comfortable going into a crowd and talking to others.

He loves making me laugh and smile. He can be such a cut up and act silly at times that you can’t help but laugh with him. Which actually makes him giggle.

The one thing most people notice about him is his long eyelashes. His eyes though are so blue and a reflection of the love he feels for his family.

Conner has become such an artist; drawing and creating his own super heroes book. He also can draw anything just by looking at it. He is very smart and continually is in the top of his class. He excels at math and reading and can get lost in a book for hours. He is able to put things together just from looking at the pictures on the directions. He loves to build and create new things and sees no ends to all the different possibilities.

Conner was baptized this past May, and we wondered if he fully understood what it meant for his life. He has shown many times that he does. He loves to read his bible and learn more about God. Each time he does he is not surprised by what God can do.

We are so blessed to have him in our life. We imagine and wonder what God has planned for him. At times we worry with his trusting heart and his eagerness to please. But we know that God gave him the compassion and desire to live for Him and serve Him. So we can’t wait and see all the wonderful things God has planned.
