We spent part of Christmas break back in Georgia visiting with family. It was a long, long, long drive due to leaving in the sleet/snow/ice it took us over 11 hours to make the normal 5 hour drive.
We loved seeing everyone and the kids had a blast playing with all their cousins. There were a lot of laughs and even some tears. Of course no visit would be complete without the kids getting sick. Adrianna was sick first, and then passed it on to Wesley. He in turned shared with Kasey who wound up showing all the signs of strep so she got a shot of penicillin but the bright side was she felt back to herself 2 days later. Conner held out till we got home and then down he went followed by Wesley again, with Mike and I both right behind.
We holed up inside the house and stayed at home resting so everyone could get well. It took a week but we all got back on our feet.
We spent New Year’s at home resting and recouping. We have made our goals and priorities for this next year and we can’t wait to see what God has planned for us next!
