Spring Laughs

We had a good time on Spring Break seeing different places but the funniest things were what the kids said. Here are some of the things that had us laughing…

At a red light Wesley looks out the window….
Wesley- “is it hot in here or is it just me?”
Adrianna-“Wesley, just hush, you don’t even know what that means”
Wesley-“I know….”

After telling the kids we were going to be staying in a motel instead of a cabin for the night…
Kasey-“so we will be staying in a hotel/motel?”
Daddy-“yea, maybe”
Kasey-“cool, we might even get to order room service”
Wesley-“room service? What is that?”

At breakfast Wesley asked the waitress for Ketchup, she looked and said ketchup?
Wesley-“yes, I eat ketchup on my pancakes”

Arriving at the Sweetwater Valley Farm….
Daddy-“we are finally here”
Wesley-“what? But this is a farm.”
Daddy-“yes”
Wesley-“you mean people actually can live on a farm with cows at the same time?”

The kids had their giggle boxes turned over when they read a sign that said,
It’s sweet, It’s tangy, It’s swaangy!

Driving through tunnels in Tennessee toward North Carolina….
Wesley-“watch it mama, that wall is really close”

Trying bread dipped in Au jus….
Wesley-“Mmm, this is good but, what is this bread thing called?”
Me-“bread”
Wesley-“oh ok, well it sure is good.”

After leaving the Carl Sandburg House….
Kasey-“ What was the man’s last name again?”
Mike-“Sanders, his name was Carl Sanders”

Trying to get daddy to stop at a shoe outlet…
Wesley-“Daddy stop being startastic, you know what I am saying”

Trying to get daddy to stop so we could eat…
Adrianna-“dude! You just passed a good restaurant! What is wrong with you?”
Wesley-“don’t you know we are starving?”

The topper of course was finding out on the way home that Uncle Troy prepped them before we left. We had lunch at the Varsity with Troy and Gianna. I had to take Adrianna to the bathroom to wash her face and hands; while I was gone he entertained the  other kids by sticking straws in his ears and then up his nose.

Oh yea, what a way to start…
