Conner,
We are so very proud of you and the young man you are becoming. You are a very smart and sweet boy. You put others needs ahead of your own always thinking and doing for other people first. Everyone who sees you always makes the same comment first, “look at those eyelashes”. After they get to know you they are also struck at how loving and gentle you are. You have a very loving, nurturing soul, patience with kids, especially ones that are younger and smaller than you.
You are sweet to your elders and strangers allowing them to rub your head when it is shaved without saying a word or moving away. You also have the ability to make people laugh. You can be silly and funny without ever being mean or hurting anyone in the process.
You may be small in size and people underestimate you because of that but you are determined, head strong, and focused when you set your mind on a goal that you desire. You decided that you wanted a Mohawk haircut and you made a deal with us setting the bar high for yourself to be able to get the haircut. In wrestling, you lost your first match decided you didn’t like and said never again, and you never lost another match. We are also seeing the same attitude on the football field, you are the smallest player on the team but your determination and attitude has impressed the players, coaches and even parents of others.
To dad you are his little man. The one he leaves in charge when he travels, one that he does sports with and goes on scavenger hunts with. You are his firstborn son and he is so proud of you.
To mom you are a piece of her heart that lives outside her body. You always are there for her snuggling with her when she is sick, telling her she is pretty, how good she cooks, and always giving her hugs just because.
What makes you so special and unique is your heart. You have a very loving giving heart always thinking of others before yourself, and the way that you show Christ rules your life also makes you shine.
So sweet and right from your heart. I enjoyed this.
ReplyDeleteThank you. I also had to write one for Adrianna, I just haven't gotten hers posted yet.
