Mike had the fun task of taking both Conner and Adrianna to the orthodontist this week.
Conner’s appointment was on Monday afternoon and he has been several times and as usual he does not say much just politely answers her questions. Not saying any more than he is asked.
Adrianna had her appointment Tuesday morning and this was on the other hand her first visit. She has never been past the waiting room. This was her first time meeting Dr. Wilhite. She of course was her usual talkative self. Mike said she talked non-stop from the time she was called back until she left.
When he brought her home he told me everything went well, she will follow up in a year.
Later this afternoon (Tuesday) Adrianna asked me if Daddy happened to tell her what had happened at the orthodontist visit? I told her that yes, he told me everything was fine and she would see you again in a year.
She replied, “ No, mama did he tell you what I said?”
I replied, no..... So she proceeded to fill me in…
The assistant took her back to get an x-ray of her mouth and asked her what was Santa Claus going to bring her for Christmas? Adrianna replied, nothing because he is a big fat phony! Clearly not the answer she was expecting so she asked, why do you say that? Adrianna said, because he is not real and saying he is and that he will bring presents is telling a big fat lie because he is fake and he is just a made up person!
I asked what about Conner? When the assistant asked him what he was getting for Christmas he just remained quiet and didn't answer.
