We have had 2 weekends in a row with nowhere to be and nothing we had to do. It has been so quiet and peaceful. We have actually had fun just hanging out with the kids talking and laughing at/with them. They are the absolute best entertainment.
Kasey now has a Face book page. After her report card was so good it was hard to keep saying no. After much discussion we agreed to let her have her own page to “talk” with her friends. We will of course monitor it as we do her e-mail and she is limited on the amount of time she can be on there also.
Conner is disappointed the wrestling tournaments have been cancelled. Due to all the snow we had they had to keep postponing them. They are limited as to certain high schools that have the space and equipment to host a tournament. With the snow it also postponed all events so we had to compete with high school basketball games and high school wrestling. Recreation wrestling fell to the bottom. So our season ends with no tournaments this year. Conner was so disappointed as he was ready and excited this year. All of the boys worked really hard for this and I felt bad that they didn’t get the opportunity to show all that they learned.
Wesley just took it in stride. He is ready to try flag football now. He is trying to fight off another sinus/bronchitis infection so he has not been feeling up to a 100% anyway. I had a conference with his teacher and she said that he is doing great. She only had two questions; the first one was if he had a hearing problem. The other was if he is as easily distracted at home as he is in school.
I told her yes, he is very easily distracted and no he doesn’t have a hearing problem per say. He has a lot of fluid and pressure from the sinus infection that makes it hard for him to hear sometimes.
Adrianna is keeping me on my toes. She is so beautiful, and very headstrong, determined, focused, driven, goal oriented and will speak her mind in a heartbeat and not think twice about it.
I will leave it at that.
